I want to make an impact, in some small way, for the greater good of society. At the same time I am not conceited to think that I am anything special– that I am important in some way. These two things, wanting to make an impact and viewing myself as nothing special, seem to be at odds with each other. However, I think what this really means is that I believe average people can make a difference in this world.

I hope other people have an easier time figuring out how they might achieve that.
